Creative Kids Club 11.30am Ages 5-14

Service Description

Book here for your young creative to join the 11.30am session for ages 5-14. The workshops are led by Cara from MY CRAFT TRIBE (also known as Cara Oliver Fibre Artist), an experienced tutor of modern and sustainable arts and crafts for all ages, children, teen and adults. Workshops are held twice a month on Sundays (see yellow dots on the calendar for next available dates) at Hove Museum of Creativity. This session is at 11.30am but another is also available at 10am. CONTEMPORARY ART & CRAFT PROJECTS Each week there will be a different project, all equally fun with a modern twist and instilling creative confidence. Topics will include art techniques/great artist studies/mental health & well-being/ sustainability, climate change & biodiversity restoration. For details of the upcoming week's activity follow @mycrafttribe on Instagram. START TIME Arrive for a 11.30am start (Museum opening time). You will be guided to the creative room by museum staff. The session lasts for one hour with pick up at the room at 12.30. IMPORTANT NOTICE RE PARENT SUPERVISION It is a Museum condition that all parents, regardless of child age, must remain on the premises and will be called upon to support their child's needs (eg bathroom visits). Parents can choose to stay and join in or can enjoy the museum or cafe during the session. All parents are required to sign into the class and leave their contact number should they need to come back to the room to support their child's needs. Children cannot leave the room during the session without their adult. All parents need to stay for the safety briefing. Parents of younger attendees or those requiring extra support are recommended to stay in the room for the class. LATE ARRIVAL The class starts at 11.30. Late arrivals after 11.45am will not be able to be admitted. No refund is available for late arrival. ART CAN BE MESSY Aprons will be provided but best dress is perhaps best avoided. FORM COMPLETION Please ensure you complete the booking form with as much information as possible. EMAIL SIGN UP Opt into emails to keep up to date with future events as they often sell out quickly. Cancellation: Tickets are for the date booked and non transferable

Cancellation Policy

As a small business this is our refund and cancellation policy as administration to process requests can be very time consuming: 50% refund if a class is cancelled 7+ days prior to the event. No refund for cancellations of less than 7 days. We will try to accommodate alternative class swaps if notified 7+ days prior to your original booking, there is not a guarantee for this to be a possible option at that time.
